It appears I have one of those faces. Doppelgangers in every city. Second cousins of friends who bear a striking resemblance to me. And I've also been compared to a wealth of celebrities who don't resemble one another, so the whole thing is peculiar. But I will admit that my everyday looks are sometimes having a great day, like when someone on the street thought I was Rachel McAdams and asked for my autograph. Made . . . my . . . day.

But I feel a lot more in common with Tina Fey. Actually, I imagine I'm probably a lot more like her character Liz Lemon. Not only do we have the same hairstyle, optional rectangular glasses, small facial scar, and sarcastic wit, but we also both make up our own words (pwomp!) and have the same world view: "All of humankind has one thing in common: the sandwich. I believe that all anyone really wants in this life is to sit in peace and eat a sandwich." Indeed, Liz Lemon, indeed.

For my last paper as an MBA student, I had to ask co-workers, friends, and classmates about their perception of me. If you don’t know how others see you, all you apparently have to do is ask. They’ll be very forthcoming, trust me.

I heard everything from “you’re someone I would not want to be caught in traffic with” to “I always want you as a member of my team.” But perhaps the three that gave me the warm and fuzzies were that I was hilarious, brave, and kind. So, while I have to work on my road rage apparently, it appears I have some redeeming qualities. And it’s always nice to hear from people who know you best and even those who don’t, that they like you very much. Just as you are.

Now to my dream job. I imagine that George Clooney’s masseuse has a pretty good life. Or Ryan Gosling’s makeup artist. Or Ryan Reynolds’s fitness trainer. Do you sense a pattern?

While all of those options are appealing, I would have loved to have been a travel writer. Correction: a traveling food writer. Maybe I didn’t graduate from the Culinary Institute of America or pack up all my belongings and move to Provence, but I do know that crème brûlée can never be Jell-O.

Question 7: Who Would You Want to Trade Places With For a Day?

This one had me stumped. Angelina Jolie? It would be great to see what a day in the life of the most beautiful, most famous woman on the planet is like. Although there's a chance that I would be so busy working as a UNHCR goodwill ambassador, filming my own stunts, being an extraordinary mother, and attending award shows with Brad that I wouldn't make it through the full 24 hours. She does it all. Still, let it be known that I'll have what she's having.

But really, I think Kate Middleton takes the cake on this one. Not because of the clothes, the fame, the whole married to a prince thing, but after looking at her vacation pictures, her life just seems pretty darn nice. To be able to devote one's life to charity work and humanitarian causes must be extremely fulfilling, and to have the perfect hair while doing all of that? Sign me up.

To answer my own question, I distinctly remember sitting in my bedroom, walls covered with New Kids on the Block paraphernalia. No, Jordan Knight had not stolen my heart. It belonged to the young, prepubescent Joey McIntyre. But was I memorizing lyrics to "The Right Stuff"? Please, there are only about three of them. Instead, I dedicated hours upon hours to stopping, rewinding, and playing Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" on my cassette player.

The year was 1989, and clad in ripped jeans and an oversized t-shirt, I had no idea what "Dien Bien Phu falls" meant and could have sworn that the verse "trouble in the Suez" was actually "trouble in the sewers." But it didn't matter, I still shouted it at the top of my lungs, impressing friends and strangers alike, I'm sure. My neighbors moved soon after that, but I'm sure that's just a coincidence, right?

Sundays are made for sleeping in, brewing a pot of coffee, reading The New York Times, grabbing a noon brunch, seeing a movie, attending an early evening yoga class. Don't you wish every day could be like that? More often than not, I instead find myself in long lines at the grocery store, running mundane errands, or preparing for Monday morning. But every once in a while, there is a serene, quiet Sunday that reminds me of what they are supposed to be — a day of rest, reflection, and mad cheering in a too-crowded bar for my favorite sports team. And when that does happen, I consider myself the luckiest (wo)man on the face of the earth.

Is it too self-serving to say that I can't live without the newly revamped OnSugar? Yeah, probably. So, in Tom Hanks Castaway-style, I'll relay the three things that I need to survive on a desert island.

1) A movie theater. There is nothing better than freshly popped butter popcorn and a Diet Coke that requires two hands to lift. When the lights go down and the animated candy bars start dancing, the goosebumps come out. Movies are my bread and butter, my one true love, my je ne sais quoi, my . . . OK, you get the picture.

2) College football. Maybe it brings me back to the glorious days of yore when I lived with my girlfriends, ate with the aid of a meal card, watched Beverly Hills, 90210 (the original, of course), and pulled all-nighters, but Fall season nostalgia takes over at the end of August. For the next 14 weeks, SportsCenter trumps 30 Rock as I pore over postgame interviews and dedicate too many brain cells to memorizing player stats and high school recruiting techniques. Crisp, East Coast breezes, cozy sweaters, good friends, yummy tailgating, cheering stadiums, what's not to love? Plus, beer just tastes better in the afternoon.

3) Which brings me to chocolate, which tastes just fine any time of day. Dark, milk, white, semisweet, with nuts, without nuts, powdered, piping hot, or served frozen on a cone, it hardly matters. I'm in. You had me at hello.
