New Feature: Blogroll Widget

Thu, 02/26/2009 - 3:39PM by sabs 4 Comments - 888 Views

We noticed that the most popular type of widget happened to be a list of sites folks love (aka a Blogroll).  Now you can easily create lists of your favorite sites or links with our new Blogroll Widget.  You can add as many blogrolls as you like and give them different names (Blogs I Love, Blogs I Secretly Love But Pretend To Hate, etc.)

To do so go to "Widgets" in the dropdown menu and find the "Blogroll" module in the left hand column. Click on "Blogroll" and another box will pop open where you can begin creating your list. Title your blogroll (you can name it anything you'd like), and then begin adding links. Add a name, url and then click the "Add Link" button for each site added. To rearrange them, drag the items in the right column up and down until they are in the correct order. Once you're done be sure to click the "Save Options" button at the bottom.

What are you waiting for? Go give it a try!

New Feature: Turn On Anonymous Comments

Thu, 02/12/2009 - 11:52AM by sabs 3 Comments - 503 Views

We've gotten a lot of requests for anonymous comments and we're happy to say that we now have them!

By default, all sites are set to accept registered comments only. However with a few clicks, you can open up your site for everyone to comment.

To do so, click on "Site Settings" in your site dropdown menu. From there, scroll to the bottom until you see the "Allow anonymous comments" checkbox. Check the box, hit "Save" and ta da! Now anyone can comment on your site.

Read our help blog for more information on comments.
