This morning I was checking out all of the posts on OnSugar and came across these layouts from Sugardoll83. Having had months to play with the layout feature myself, I'm embarassed by how much better hers are than mine. In just a few days she's managed to master the feature and create simple, yet sophisticated layouts.

And if these aren't enough for you, check out her Shoe Worship blog. It's another excellent source for layout inspiration. If you feel the sudden urge to buy some of these things, don't say I didn't warn you! She makes everything look so darn compelling.

New Features: RSS Feeds, Sites I Follow, and Tags

Thanks to everyone who's given us such great feedback. We're planning to implement bug fixes and add new features each week. If there's something you'd like to see, or a problem that you've encountered, let us know. We really do like hearing what you think.

Here's the rundown of our latest release:

  • If you've been looking for an easy way for readers to subscribe to your blog feed, use the Your RSS Feed Widget. We've also placed an RSS feed link in the footer of all featured themes.
  • We added a fast link to access all of your entries of a certain post type. Go to your site and add "/POSTTYPE" to the end of your blog url. For example, if you wanted to see all quote posts on Fashionologie, you'd type http://www.fashionologie.com/quotes .  (Just make sure the post type is plural: texts, galleries, polls, quizes, quotes, links, chats, videos, audios).
  • You can also filter post types by tag. Go to your site and add /POSTTYPE/tags/YOURTAG after your blog url.  Example: http://lisaandbrian.onsugar.com/galleries/tag/wedding
  • Finally, we created a Sites I Follow Widget that displays the sites you follow. Now your friends know which sites you're checking out.

Inside My Head

In the early stages of OnSugar, we recruited our gal Eppie22 to test it out for us. To our surprise she ran with it, and has created a truly funny blog. During the long hours of testing and developing, our little ray of sunshine was the email telling us that Eppie had a new post. If you like laughing, and loads of irreverent things, then be sure to check out what’s inside Eppie’s head. Just don't say I didn't warn you.
