Have you started a blog, but need a hand in keeping it going? Or maybe your blog has gotten so popular you could use more posts each day? Either way it sounds like you could use a little help. So why not invite a friend to join you?
In case you didn't know, OnSugar allows you to invite other people to become writers or editors of your blog. Writers can create new posts, and editors have full access. And even if you don't need a hand, blogs can be a lot more fun with your friends. If you don't believe me, just check out these goofy examples.
Here's how to add writers: Read More
Whether you post daily or a month, it's great to control how your content looks. By default OnSugar shows 10 posts on your homepage. However, you can easily change this to 1, 5, 10, or 25. To do so, click on "Blog Settings" in your blog dropdown menu. Scroll to the bottom where you'll see an area for Posts Per Page. Change the number and click Save.
If you're wondering why you'd want to change the number, check out PopSugar Daily. It's a perfect example of why you might want to display one post at a time.

When I have a few minutes to spare, I head over to the Explore section to find new sites. I love going through the popular and hot posts, but lately I've found myself drawn to the Active Blogs area. And I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but if a site has a great site icon, I'm more likely to click on it. I'm sure this is true for many others too, so if you don't have a site icon, what are you waiting for?

Time to fess up. I know that some of you are lurkers. You read your favorite OnSugar blogs daily -- including all the comments -- but you never participate yourself. For those of you in this camp, you might want to listen up. There's actually a quick way to subscribe to all comments.
Getting comments via email is easy. Your first option is to leave a comment and click the "Post & Subscribe" button. However if you want to stay quiet, you can click the subscribe link instead. At the bottom of each comment section, you'll find a sentence telling you your subscription status. If you want to change it, just click the link! You can always change your mind later.
With this tip in your back pocket you'll never miss another comment. And who knows, maybe you'll see one that will make you break your silent streak!

Writing a long post and wish the whole thing didn't show up on your blog's homepage? Just use a page break!
Page breaks are simple ways to show only the first portion of your post. This way your homepage stays clean, and your readers can click in to see more. You can even customize the "read more" sentence that people click on.
